The full-length aluminum crossbars give you strength you can count on for hauling gear. With a 165-lb weight capacity and a tough, corrosion-resistant build, they hold up through long road trips, camping hauls, and paddling adventures. Each bar measures 49" long x 3-1/8" wide x 1-3/16" tall, giving plenty of room to spread out your setup and mount what you need securely.
Every drive feels smoother thanks to the aero-style bar profile and built-in Vortex rubber strips. The strips fill the top channels to help reduce drag and wind noise, so you don’t get that constant whistling when you’re on the highway. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference when you’re putting in long miles.
From kayaks and bikes to cargo boxes and skis, these crossbars are ready for whatever adventure comes next. The top channels accept channel-mount gear, while the bar shape also works with clamp-on carriers. That flexibility means you can use most bike, watersport, snow, and cargo attachments without needing to change racks between seasons or trips.
Once everything is in place, the integrated plastic locks in the crossbars deter theft of your mounted accessories, while lockable cover plates on each leg help keep the rack itself secure. If you want even more protection, you can upgrade to all-metal locks (RRVA-LEC4 - sold separately) for added security on extended adventures or overnight parking.
This complete roof rack system includes two Vortex crossbars, four 2500 Series legs, and a custom fit kit designed for fixed mounting points. Each component comes with its own limited warranty—crossbars for a limited lifetime, legs for 5 years, and fit kit for a limited lifetime—so you can keep focusing on the journey ahead instead of worrying about your setup.

Still happy. Theres a whistle, but you can fix it with a bit of foam insulation in the bottom of the rail.

Still rock solid after a year. Very happy with the Rack. My daughter has used it from time to time over the past year when something wont fit in her car, and shes had no problems with it at all.
